    Mal Hand aufs Herz, dieses lahme "Summer Game Fest" letztes Jahr war doch echt kein Ersatz für die E3. Kleinere Events verteilt über den Sommer, die mal oder weniger untergegangen sind und dazu auch wenig spektakulär. Das Bravado einer E3, in der innerhalb einer Woche eine Flut an Ankündigungen hereinbrechen, fehlte einfach. Genau wie die dazugehörige Unterhaltung und die entsprechenden Diskussionen in den Foren. Doch auch mit einer E3, wird Geoff Keighley selbst auch wieder mit dem "Summer Game Fest" an den Start gehen.

    Dieses Jahr findet die E3 rein in digitaler Form statt, für uns hier sollte sich also nicht viel ändern.
    Neben den großen Firmen erscheinen bereits Tage vor der E3 kleinere Events per Livestream. Während Sony zunächst für die E3 gänzlich abgesagt haben, soll wohl in diesem Monat nun doch eine weitere "State of Play" stattfinden. Von EA wurde bereits "EA Play Live" für Ende Juli angekündigt.

    Die Gerüchteküche ist dieses Jahr in Sachen Microsoft und Nintendo wieder ordentlich am Köcheln. Es wird gemunkelt, das Hideo Kojima an einem Spiel für Xbox werkelt. Starfield soll wohl keine Vaporware sein und IO Interactive basteln an einem RPG in dem Drachen vorkommen sollen. Die Show von Microsoft soll jedenfalls ca. 90 Minuten laufen. Wenn die nicht mit Spielen gefüllt sind, was dann?
    Nachdem schon Händler diesen Frühling angefangen haben, eine Switch Pro zu listen, wurden die Gerüchte dazu natürlich nicht weniger. Aktuell wird spekuliert, dass Nintendo die Switch Pro sogar noch vor E3 ankündigen wird, da auf der 40-minütigen "Nintendo Direct" nur Spiele gezeigt werden sollen. Was auch immer die Wahrheit ist, man kann nur hoffen, dass Nintendo endlich mal wieder was Interessantes zu zeigen hat.
